Mill Wheel @ Kepong
While I was walking around Jusco-Carrefour @ Kepong area looking for open hair saloon on Chinese New Year Eve (yeah – all of them were closed), I suddenly found this place that I had read online about!
If you are bringing children or girlfriend here, be prepared to buy 1 of these cuties on shelves.

Interior is blue & exterior green. When Nat and I went there, there was only 1 staff! Only a couple sitting outside and us.

Menu’s blue background too. Unappetizing. It should use food and colour psychology. Blue makes people calm and content. They wouldn’t want to eat. Bright and warm colours like orange, yellow and red should be used. That’s why McDonald’s is always full of people. The pictures were small and not all food had their own picture. Save paper, I guessed? This menu was soo different from Paddington in The Curve and Mid Valley!

The deco had gifts, toys, paper cuttings, dolls.. Practically deserted street outside but surprisingly, there were more people coming in. Maybe they were sucker for pretty deco & ice cream like us.

We ordered 2 things only – Chocolate Cheese (coz we both love chocolate & cheese) & Mango Ice Cake (recommended by the staff as Best Seller). Oh and a mineral water as Nat thought they would be too sweet.

Chocolate Cheese (Snow Cheese) RM5.90 Flakes, a “cigar” and chocolate ice shavings, chocolate cones and at the bottom of the cup – cheese. Not much chocolate taste! If it were not for the chocolate cones, it would even have lesser chocolate taste! Frankly, it was more brown colouring than chocolate. Yuh, utterly disappointed.

Sucked by the pretty, colourful, happy deco. 20% discounts now. Felt like shops in Melaka where they sell whatever that is displayed and also serve food.

Pretty cute boxes

Deco stuff

Mango Ice Cake RM4.90 – ice with mango flavour, some mango cubes on top and cut like a cake. You get 2 balls of ice cream – choose your own flavours from strawberry, milk tea, chocolate, vanilla, um.. there were 6 flavours. We thought we could get 2 flavours but no, it was just 1 flavour – same for the 2 balls. No, they were not worms on the balls. Cornflakes were sprinkled on top of the balls and beside the ice cake.

This tasted better than the Chocolate Cheese but not much. I had tasted better desserts. Though the price was reasonable, the taste was not something I would repeat.

So we mixed up the Chocolate Cheese into the Mango Ice Cake and it became shit-like. Hahha. Now it tasted better :)

Mill Wheel, near Gasoline. Very small shop.
